I have been blogging on politics and economics since the early 2000s. I am the previous owner of RPPE.wordpress.com and RPPE.ORG. After a year and a half hiatus from blogging I have decided, hesitantly, to jump back into the fray.
I am currently a professor in the comparative political economy of industrial relations in the department of relations industrielles @ Université Laval. I hold a Ph.D. in political science from the department of political science @ York University. None of the opinions expressed here are necessarily endorsed or even shared by my present or former employers, colleagues, or mentors.
The blog title is a deliberate play on words which works on several levels. Any of which I am happy to discuss further in the comments section.
The photo is of me in my ceramics studio where I fend off hysteresis by keeping my throwing skills sharp. Although classically trained @ C10-R I currently work in C6-O.
